Information under Article 13 GDPR
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data under the GDPR is:
Robin Westphal
Niederalteicher Weg 2, 94491 Hengersberg

2. The essentials
- This website uses no cookies and has no tracking and no advertising.
- Fonts and images are hosted on our own server. No Google Fonts or similar services are loaded.
- You do not need to provide your real name, address or date of birth to use the website or Minecraft server.
3. Hosting and server logs
The website and Minecraft server run on a rented server at Datalix (owner: Florian Kolb), Theodor-Heuss-Str. 1, 97230 Estenfeld, Germany. When you visit the website, the web server automatically records your IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referring page, browser and operating system.
This is necessary to deliver the website and prevent attacks (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are automatically deleted after 14 days .
4. Website content
Player counts, the leaderboard and server status come directly from our server. Our server loads Minecraft heads and skins for the leaderboard through mc-heads.net and forwards them to you. Your browser does not connect to mc-heads.net, so your IP address is not shared with that service.
5. Minecraft server
When you play on NOVA, we process:
- Minecraft name and UUID (for Bedrock, the Xbox ID through Geyser/Floodgate)
- IP address for the connection and to prevent abuse, such as ban evasion
- Game data, including statistics, level, Coins, Gems, friends, party and settings
- Chat messages, reports (
/report) and punishments to enforce the rules - Anti-cheat data about your movements in the game
The legal bases are providing the game (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our interest in a fair, secure server (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your leaderboard statistics and Minecraft name are publicly visible on the website.
6. Discord
Our Discord server is operated by Discord Inc. and is subject to the Discord privacy policy. When you use /link to link your Minecraft account, we store your Discord ID alongside your UUID to assign roles and /stats . You can unlink your accounts at any time by opening a support ticket.
7. Retention periods
We store game data for as long as you use NOVA. We delete it on request. We retain punishments and related data while the punishment is active and as needed to enforce the rules.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Articles 15–21 GDPR). Contact us at nova.netzwerk.con@gmail.com or open a Discord ticket. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
9. Changes
We update this policy when NOVA changes. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
